THE BARRISTER MEDIA INFORMATION
Established in 1999, published four times a year.
The Barrister can be described as informative and factual. It combines a topical review of the key issues in the profession, covering subjects in greater depth than any other legal magazine, keeping its recipients advised on what is essential to them professionally in general, and specific to them as practising barristers.
It also encompasses a full range of prestigious personal and professional services, with particular emphasis on the needs and requirements of this important body.
The Barrister is referred to regularly, and therefore offers an exceptional opportunity for any company wishing to advertise its product or services to a well targeted and committed audience, its area of focus being: Expert Witnesses, Legal and Financial Services, Information Technology, Charitable Trusts, and Education.

- Wildy & Sons, Fleet St.
- Selected major Law Firms
By the very nature of the publication only a limited amount of relevant display advertising space is available to companies wishing to reach this prestigious and important readership.
The magazine is produced to the very highest specification as is in keeping with the status of its recipients. A 2001 BDO Stoy Hayward survey of the Bar highlighted that the collective annual earnings of the 14500 barristers in the UK were in excess of £1.5 billion and rising. One third of UK barristers are female.
‘Thanks very much Nigel. I must admit I really liked the idea of it going in the magazine as my barristers tell me they all read it and they have said it is on the tube, train to courts across the country……

A message from BSB Chair, Baroness Blackstone
It is a great honour and privilege to take over from Sir Andrew Burns as the lay Chair of the Bar Standards Board. I am very much looking forward to deepening my understanding of the work of the Bar and to writing in The Barrister to keep you informed about our work….
